Rhonda
Rhonda was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1988 at 34 years old. She remained cancer-free until 2007, when she was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer. Since that time, she’s been treated at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers with tremendous support from her care team, family, great friends, and coworkers.

I can\'t tell you how much I appreciate her sharing details of this part of her life and how much I hold her in high regard. Cindy Celata, Boston Area I have known Rhonda professionally for many years, but in that time extended the relationship to where I am proud to consider her both a friend and mentor. She is a pillar of strength and inspiration to all, especially the women in her life who have been privileged enough to know her (on any level). I will follow this closely and also want her to know I think of her often. Naomi (her daughter) has been keeping me informed of her battle. If there is any one person I know on this earth that can can beat this, its Rhonda. Her sheer will, zest for living and strong support system and family I know are there to sustain her courage and strength as she she faces this.

Eve, Lakewood Dear Carey Family...thank you for sharing your Mom Rhonda's journey. Rhonda, Naomi and I met at work a few years back. During that time, a dear friend of mine was struggling through her own battle with stage 4 cancer and having the chance to talk with Rhonda and Naomi was inspirational. I watch these video journals, it re-emphasizes how important family is and how cancer touches everyone in the family circle. Laugh and find the ability to be together and have special quiet times. Rhonda, even though I am not in touch as frequently, you are in my heart daily. You ARE loved and I am humbled and honored to know you.
