Vickie (Will) Karste, Clearwater, MN Greetings Dale from our house to yours. Just got off the phone with Carla. Yep it has been oh so many years since we have seen each other. I too remember the summers you and your family came to Jamestown. They were the BEST memories ever. Even though we haven't been in touch I have always thought about all of you alot. The last time I saw your Mom and Dad was 1979. It just blows my mind to think it has been almost 31 years. We will keep you in our hearts, in our thoughts and in our prayers.

Carla (Will) Torgers, Hendrum, MN Hey Dale, I just got a letter in the mail from your mom today with the information of this documentary. I haven't seen you for so many years but have to tell you I have the fondest memories of you and your family pulling into our backyard in Jamestown ND every summer when we were kids. It seems like a lifetime ago. We had so much fun when you guys came. My dad Dick and your dad used to have a blast!!! I am so sorry to hear of the road you have traveled. We will keep you and yours in our thoughts and prayers. Keep up the good fight. Sending love and prayers from our house to yours.

Marilyn (Perrine) Su, Colorado Springs Dale, I just heard the news of your fight with cancer when my sister, Elly forwarded this to me. What you and your family have been through is incredible. I admire your courage and strength in fighting this disease. Thanks for sharing your story with us and know that you truly are in my thoughts and prayers. Here we are, family (cousins), who live just down the road from each other in Colorado Springs and we have never really gotten to know one other. We need to change that! It's sad that it takes a life-changing event like this to reminded us of how very important family is in our lives and how we need to take time to be together and cherish every moment we can spend with each other - not take anything for granted. Please let me know if EVER there is anything I can do support you and your beautiful family. Keep the faith. Hugs, from your cousin, Marilyn

Diane, Colorado Springs Dale - I am so grateful that I got to know you and work with you for the short time at the library. You are greatly missed!! You have touched my heart and you are such an inspiration to everyone. Being a cancer survivor myself, I know how hard of a fight it is going through it, but knowing your strength and determination, you will have many, many good years. You and your family are always in my thoughts and prayers.

Laura, Black Forest Thank you for sharing your story. Kick cancer's a$$ buddy!

Lyle and Sandy Mille, Carlton, KS Dale and Beth are two very wonderful people that we met over 20 years ago. We have all traveled apart but still seem to be able to pick up where we left off when our paths cross. It has been a few years since we have seen each other, but recently reconnected. When we learned of Dale's illness we were instantly shocked and saddened. We pray for continued positive treatment and hope and pray for strength for all of you. You have both always been very positive and strong people. With the love and support of your friends around you, near and far, we pray for your health and happiness.
